The Steinfurt district police authority, in cooperation with the district traffic watch, supports the monthly (always on the 1st Tuesday) senior citizens' cinema at the Cinetech adventure cinema on Surenburgstraße in Rheine. To the cinema program
Before each screening, our road safety advisors provide information on all aspects of road safety and road accident prevention.
Traffic accident prevention and crime prevention
Information is provided on topics such as visibility, medication in road traffic, pedestrian and cyclist safety, e-bikes and pedelecs, hearing and seeing, the blind spot, compulsory winter tires and the latest traffic accident statistics.
Cinema-goers are also made aware of crime prevention topics. These include protection against fraudsters (grandchild scams, fake police officers, shock calls) and theft protection for bicycles and pedelecs.
