The Steinfurt district police authority is responsible for gatherings in the Steinfurt district area.

Assemblies can take the form of vigils, processions or stationary rallies, for example.

Public assemblies in the open air in accordance with Section 10 of the NRW Assembly Act (VersG) must be notified at least 48 hours before the invitation. After notification, the district police authority will check whether and, if so, which conditions are to be imposed for the respective assembly.
