Unknown perpetrators have gained unauthorized access to the outdoor pool area in Lenzinghausen over the past few days. Yesterday, the pool staff noticed that several power cables were missing from the outbuildings. The thieves took the risk of causing a short circuit in a power distributor when they stole a power cable. This caused the freezer and other electrical systems in the swimming pool to fail. The food in the freezer thawed and the goods spoiled. The damage is estimated to be at least 1400 euros. The police are asking for help from the public in this case. Anyone who can provide information on suspicious persons or vehicles in connection with the crime. The approximate time of the crime is Sunday, July 21, around 4:00 pm to Wednesday, July 24, 10:00 am.
